Meet a speaker: Darrell Roberts, Studio Artist & Writer

Creator Camp is proud to have local artist Darrell Roberts as one of our speakers!

Topic: Always Looking: Artist Darrell Roberts is always looking at everything around him, everyday to find inspiration. Darrell will share with you where inspiration comes from — and what unexpected places you can look to seek it.

About our speaker:

Darrell Roberts moved to Chicago in 1997 after growing up in rural Iowa, He attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he received a BA in Art History. He spent the summer of 1996 on the Leon Levy Expedition in Ashkelon, Israel on an archaeology dig. It was there he realized his interest in civilizations and desire to pursue painting. Darrell continued his education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he received a BFA and MFA in studio art.

Previously, Darrell written for, and, A voice for Artists in Chicago.
